Responsibility and commitment to the maintenance and improvement of a public service, such as lighting, make SECE highly rigorous in its work, and prompt it to seek, to innovate and to make use of all the technical and human means available in order to guarantee constant maximum quality, which is both environmentally friendly and beneficial for people.
This commitment to improving quality and service has led to constant, active collaboration in the research projects of public and private organisations, which include the Technical University of Catalonia, different provincial councils, and the Catalan Institute of Technology.
The Femarec social project. This project was initiated in 1991 expressly to prompt the social, employment and cultural integration of people, and particularly the disabled, in situations of marginalisation.
The Arsis social project. This association, founded in Badalona in 1994, encourages the social integration of marginalised groups.
Other specific projects such as the Special Olympic Games, which were held in Badalona in 2004.
Collaboration with the Council of Castellar del Vallès on the “School Workshop Transition Project”.

SECE, implied and sensitized in the prevention of the environment from the 90s, it has wanted formalize this environmental commitment implementing a management system based on the ISO norm 14001:2004 and in the Regulation of the European Parliament 761/2001 (EMAS). The year 2005 obtained the certification of the ISO norm 14001, and the EMAS Regulation in the year 2006. |
